3112172 - CK797 message when cancelling marking allowance

You would like to cancel the marking allowance for one company code, and you get information message:

CK797 Company code XXXX: Release already carried out, cancellation not possible.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Enter app Organizational Measure and cancel marking allowance.

As stated in the error message, if there is existing released cost estimate, the system can't cancel the marking allowance.
But if you have just issued the marking allowance and still didn't release any cost estimates, the message will still happen.

You need to first release a cost estimate for any material in the company. Then you can reorganize the released cost estimate with app Reorganization of Cost Estimates.
Then you can go back to app Organizational Measure and cancel the marking allowance.
