3112601 - Product Quantities are not matching with Report Inventory Balance and Report Physical Inventory Count

You observe Product KLM quantities are not matching in Report Inventory Balance with Report Physical Inventory Count for Site id DEF.*KLM refers to Product Id, *DEF refers to Site id

SAP Business ByDesign

1.  Go to Business Analytics Work Center
2. Navigate to Design Reports View
3. Search for Physical Inventory Count
4. Pass Selection parameters such as product  Site id 
5. We could see Product Actual quantity 

1. Go to Business Analytics Work Center
2. Navigate to Design Reports View
3. Search for Inventory Balance Report
4. Pass Selection parameters such as product, Site id 
5. We could see Ending quantity 

There is a difference of quantities between the two reports due to backdated posting of warehouse confirmation.

Inventory Balance report works on the actual execution date and not the creation date, hence you’d see the difference quantities which is valid behaviour.
