Symptom

  • DSI connection to secondary database is down
  • Execution of DDL command fails with error message:

    Execution of the last DDL failed, DSI for connection 'DEST.MDB' will re-execute the transaction.

        Message from server: Message: 10389, State 1, Severity 14 -- 'Permission denied. You must be the object owner to replace the definition of 'sap_hadr_send_trace'.

    THREAD FATAL ERROR #5049 DSI EXEC(107(2) DEST.MDB) - neric/dsi/dsiqmint.c(5210)
        The DSI thread for database 'DEST.MDB' is being shutdown. DSI received data server error #10389 which is mapped to STOP_REPLICATION. See logged data server errors for more information. The data server error was caused by output command #0 mapped from input command #0 of the failed transaction.
    THREAD FATAL ERROR #5273 DSI EXEC(107(2) DEST.MDB) - neric/dsi/dsiqmint.c(5238)
        To write the failed transaction into log, please execute 'sysadmin log_first_tran, DEST, MDB'. Please analyze the transaction and provide an appropriate fix based on your analysis, then resume the connection.
    The DSI thread for database 'DEST.MDB' is shutdown.
