3112678 - Unexpected close tag line error when creating new a new MDK project

Symptom

  • When trying to create a new MDK project in Business Application Studio the customer receives the error "Unexpected close tag Line: 0 Column. 1106 Char: >" in the last step when the IDE tries to retrieve the service metadata from the backend through Mobile Services.
  • When the developer tried to login using valid metadata an http 401 error was returned.
  • The same steps work fine in one subaccount but not in a second subaccount.
