3113128 - Organizational Object Replication - object associations are not transferred in the OData call

Symptom

When replicating Organizational Objects from SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP ERP HCM or S/4HANA on-premise, the objects' relationships with other Organization objects are not replicated.

You notice that the OData query that reaches your CPI does not have the Expand parameter with the navigational fields, such as successorNav. The parameter is necessary to read the Object's associations. You can check how the OData query was built on your CPI MPL logs.

It is not necessary to increase the Log Level on CPI, 'Info' level is sufficient.

Requisites:

  1. You have defined a mapping for Employee Central fields to SAP ERP HCM fields in the Transformation Template Group and/or is has mapped custom objects and fields.
  2. You are using or have the intention to use "Generic Object Replication with Generic Processing" approach - Documentation for reference: Use Cases of Organizational Object Replication
