Symptom
- When searching for a child Job Requisition, some of the Job Requisitions are not showing up when using some keywords or when not using the Req ID filter. The Job Requisition is only showing if the user types the Job Requisition ID (Req ID) in the filter. The issue is commonly encountered by Recruiting users using a different locale.
- There are Job Requisitions that are not showing at all in the result even when filtering by Job Req ID.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
Scenario 1:
- Login as a Recruiter who is using English locale
- Go to Recruiting
- Open any evergreen Job Requisitions
- Click on "Add Child Requisition"
- Search for any Job Requisitions
- Logout and login as another user with a different locale
- Do the same steps as step 2, 3, 4 and 5
- When comparing the results with first user, there is a difference in the list of Job Requisitions
Scenario 2:
- Login as recruiter
- Go to Recruiting
- Open any evergreen Job Requisition
- Click on "Add Child Requisition"
- Search for any Job Requisitions
- The target Job Requisition is not showing in the list
Cause
Here are the possible causes:
- The job search is showing job posting based on the user's locale.
- The target Job Requisition is an also an Evergreen Job Requisition.
Resolution
For cause 1:
Job Posting language has impact in showing relevance of the search result. If the Job Requisition is posted in English US language, the system will show the Job Requisition to Recruiting users with the same locale.
For cause 2:
The system will no longer display in the result evergreen Job Requisitions (including parent and child of evergreen). Only non Evergreen Job Requisitions will appear in the search.
