Symptom
When when searching for child requisition, some of the requisitions are not showing when using some keywords or when not using the filter. The requisition is only showing if the user type the requisition ID in the filter. The issue is commonly encountered by user who is using a different locale.
There are requisitions that are not showing at all in the result even when filter using Job Req ID.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
Scenario 1
1. Login as recruiter who is using English
2. Go to Recruiting
3. Open any evergreen requisition
4. Click Add Child Requisition then search for any position
5. Logout and login as another user with different locale.
6. Do the same steps as step 2, 3 and 4.
7. Compare the result with first user. They have different result.
Scenario 2
1. Login as recruiter
2. Go to Recruiting
3. Open any evergreen requisition
4. Click Add Child Requisition then search for any position
5. The target requisition is not showing.
Cause
Here are the possible causes:
1. The job search is showing job posting based user's locale.
2. The target requisition is an also an evergreen.
Resolution
In cause 1, Job Posting language has impact in showing relevance of the search result. If the job is posted in English US language, the system will offer the job to users or candidate with the same assigned locale.
In cause 2, the system will no longer display in the result all evergreen requisitions (including parent and child of evergreen). We can only link as child requisitions if the target requisition is just a standard one.
