How do we activate a DocuSign test account?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Resolution

DocuSign offers all new DocuSign clients a trial version of sending 100 Offer Letters with unlimited recipients. DocuSign also provides a demo instance for clients to test functionality. The DocuSign integration supports both standard and strong password security settings in the DocuSign system. To activate a test account do the following:

  1. Create a DocuSign account with an email address in the customers email domain.
  2. Get the activation e-mail and create the password.
  3. Once your account is activated, you can manage it using the DocuSign website.
  4. Under your user profile, click the dropdown arrow and get Account ID.
  5. Click Security Settings  Password Security  Password Rules (Link)  Password Questions Required = 0.
  6. Enter in Sign Here and Sign Date tokens in DocuSign. There may be a 30-minute delay in servers syncing.
  7. Log in to Recruiting and update your credential under Manage Recruiting Settings.
  8. Sign out of Recruiting. Ensure that you aren’t blocking third-party cookies.

    To update cookies, ensure that you always allow session cookies and don't block third-party cookies and site data.

  9. Log in to Recruiting and test the connection.
