3114588 - The Descriptions of Standard Cash Flow Keys Are Not Editable

Symptom

Not able to edit the descriptions of standard cash flow keys.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
  2. Go to Overview View.
  3. Find and open Activity Direct Cash Flow Statement - China.
  4. In the newly open page, can check all the pre-delivered cash flow keys from CF001 to CF023, and see that the descriptions are not editable.

Cause

Descriptions of SAP pre-delivered cash flow keys are not editable. This is current system behavior.

Resolution

As a workaround, it's always possible to create new custom cash flow keys and for these custom ones, can add the desired description. Steps as follows:

  1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
  2. Go to Overview View.
  3. Find and open Activity Direct Cash Flow Statement - China.
  4. In the newly open page, click Add.

Then define the desired description of cash flow keys.
