Symptom

  • Default primary user is not added to the recruiting team field as per the configuration
  • What is the difference between these two options: Add Default Primary User vs Add Users to Team

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In Manage Recruiting Team Settings, add a user via "Add Default Primary User"
  2. Create a job requisition
  3. The user is not added to the recruiting team field

Resolution

"Add Default Primary User" is used for assigning a user to the operator field (e.g. Hiring Manager).

"Add Users to Team" is used for assigning a user to the operator team field (e.g. Hiring Manager Team).

Note: If the operator is part of the route map, the operator field is filled when you create the job requisition. In this case, the system will not add default primary user to the field.
