This article describes about candidate application has been updated by the system, the Application Status Audit Trail shows status was updated by v4admin or system system.

The status update normally performed by system system (v4admin) is when there is a change in the application process, this is probably caused by late stage application. The candidate has been processed even before they applied, and when the candidate apply, the system will not send them back to initial status (Default) but on the current status in the pipeline.

There could also be a business rules that updated the status when certain condition is met. Usually, status change is associated in the Rule for Offer Approval, Rule for Candidate Decisions on Offer Letter, Rule for Completed Assessment and  Rule for Completed Background Check.

Note: After the 2411 release, instead of showing the status update performed by system system when a candidate is hired using Manage Pending Hire (EC) or onstartdatechangestatus job (Onboarding), it will now display the user who actually initiated the hiring process for that application. If there is an EC approval workflow for new hire or internal hire process, the latest approver will display as the user who moves the candidate to Hired status.

This change is to provide a more accurate record of who initiated the hiring process.
