3116913 - "Invalid time scheduling" error while scheduling a purge in Data Retention Management tool

• Cannot schedule a purge without providing End Date.
• Error shown- "Invalid time scheduling. The job cannot be scheduled"

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Core

1. Go to Data Retention Management tool.
2. Create a Purge Request and select any purge type with required parameters.
3. Click Schedule to bring up the "Schedule Purge Request" pop-up.
4. Try to schedule the purge:

• Without any End Date:

• With End Date within the Recurring Pattern selected (e.g. recurring pattern is set to Yearly yet the End date is set within the same year):

• Error will be shown- The recurring pattern is invalid. No occurrence can be found in the time range

A valid End Date is now required in order to be able to Schedule a Purge Request.

A valid End Date needs to be selected for the Purge request scheduling to be accepted.

Customers can choose a future year, like 2099, for the End date if they do not want the purge schedule to expire too soon.

When "yearly" or "monthly" is selected, the End Date must be after the current year or month established in the Start Date.
