3117881 - Deleted Purchase Requisition Adopted in the Creation of Purchase Order

User deleted the Purchase Requisition but the same can still be adopted during the creation of Purchase Order from App: Create Purchase Order

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. App: Create Purchase Order
2. Click on Document Overview On
3. Click on Selection Variant > Purchase Requisitions
4. In the Field: Purchase Requisition Number, enter the PR ID
5. Execute
6. Select the PR line and click on Adopt

You can see the deleted PR can be adopted during the PO creation

This is the intended system design. The check for the deletion flag is executed after the adoption of the requisition.

The following workarounds can be used:

Option 1:

In the SSCUI 102364, It is possible to configure the message 06 050 (Purchase requisition & item & already deleted) as error in the Customizing. This will not prevent the system from adopting the deleted requisition, but the PO cannot be saved unless the reference to the deletion requisition is removed.

Option 2:

If you use the document overview to select requisitions, you can prevent and not to select the deleted ones from being selected by using the criteria "Deletion Indicator" from the dynamic selections
