3118310 - OLDEDB MDA scripts are not included on version SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • It was noted that upgrading from ASE 16.0 SP03 PL09 to ASE 16.0 SP04 PL01, "sp_version" is showing "OLEDB MDA" Scripts along with "ADO.NET" MDA Scripts.
  • If it is a new installation on ASE 16.0 SP04 PL01, "sp_version" reflects only "ADO.NET MDA" Scripts which is not found in the earlier version. "OLEDB MDA" Scripts is missing in the "sp_version" output.
  • For example:
    • ASE upgraded from ASE 16.0 SP03 PL09 to ASE 16.0 SP04 PL01

      sp_version
      go

      Script Version Status

    • Whereas, a New installation ASE 16.0 SP04 PL01, shows:

      go

      Script Version Status
      ------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------
