3118619 - System triggers error message "Your entry is too long. Do not enter more than 30 characters" while trying to create New Registered Product ID

You are trying to create a new Registered Product ID  which exceeds 30 characters or more,error appears

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Service Entitlements Work Center 
2. Navigate to Registered Products View
3. Select New --> Registered Product
4. Maintain the Registered Product id more than 30 characters
5. System triggers error message
6. "Your entry is too long. Do not enter more than 30 characters"

This is the expected behavior Serial ID has to be less than or equal to 30 characters

Currently we do not have any Business Configuration setting to extend the characters of Serial Number over and above 30. The feature to configure the Serial ID length is not supported in the current release of SAP Business ByDesign
