Symptom

  • The UXMon script execution is failing with the following error:
RESULT_FAILED The 'Sapgui Component' could not be instantiated.

  • In the eem.X.log of the Diagnostics Agent you see the following exception:
[EXCEPTION]
com.sap.smd.eem.executor.MessageException:  The 'Sapgui Component' could not be instantiated. (<hostname>):605:service '<hostname>{sapgui.sysno}' unknown
