3118968 - Wrong Address Found in Sales Order Account

You have a Sales Order which is displaying the wrong address, despite change having performed changes inside of the Account master data, prior to the creation of the Sales Order.

In this example, the master data address which is not correct is the account's zip code.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Select the Sales Orders view.
3. Search for the ID ABC (ABC represents the ID of the Sales Order).
4. Click Edit. 

You see that the zip code is not maintained as expected.

Although you did perform updates in the Account master data before the creation of the Sales Order, since this document is a follow-up from a sales document, such as an Opportunity, and the preceding sales document was created before the Account master data update, the Sales Order will inherit the data from the preceding document.

 This is the system expected behavior.
