3118971 - Goal Status Changes to 'Cancelled' when clicking on 'Mark as Complete' in For You Today card

After clicking on "Mark as Complete" on a goal engagement card, the goal status in the goal plan is changed to Cancelled.

1. Go to the Homepage
2. Click on 'Mark as Complete' on a goal in the engagement card
3. Go to the Goal Plan
4. See the status of the goal is 'Cancelled'
   
   

In the Goal Plan Template, the last status label is Cancelled.
Per system hardcoded logic, only the last status will trigger the completion of the goal card.

For users to properly mark their goals as complete, the last enum value for the status field in the goal plan template should be set to complete. This is because the last enum value triggers the complete state of a goal.

1. Action Search: Manage Templates
2. Select the Goal Plan tab > select the goal plan
3. Expand Edit Fields > Select the Status Field
4. In Dropdown Options, click the down arrow next to Complete until it's at the bottom of the list > Save

Note: the changes in manage templates will not affect the cards that are already showing in the homepage.
For these cards, only the goal status is saved again, system will trigger the completion again and then the card will disappear.

Import performance goals tool could be used to mass save goals. More information in Goal Import File Specifications.

From 2311, we have developed an enhancement for this issue that you could select the flag a state value that is associated to the goal completion status.
For admin users, they could set the Trigger Completion in Manage Templates, then save the template and choose the Refresh button. This is to make the setting effective and to refresh the goals that show on the Goal Management landing page and the home page.
