Symptom
While you can purge data from deleted worksheets manually via the Data Retention Management tool, the setting "Automatically purge deleted worksheets" allows an Administrator to define a set period of time before worksheets
are purged automatically.

Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
- SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay
Resolution
To enable this, please follow the below steps:
- Go to Admin Center> Compensation Home
- In the Data for all Plans section, select Actions for all plans
- Select Company Settings
- In the Compensation and Variable Pay section, the "Automatically purge deleted worksheets after" [no of days] days option is selected.
By default, the system automatically purges worksheets 90 days after deletion
- Specify the number of days that the system retains worksheets before purging them. The maximum retention period is 365 days
Once selected and a period has been defined, save the changes and no further action is required.
A global job is executed across for all data-centers individually which is ran every four days. Once this option is enabled and a date is defined, the company ID will be included in this job schedule.
This would be the first and fourth day of the week and will run for a max of 150 seconds collecting the first available 500 forms to delete.
Please take this into consideration when reviewing deleted forms from Restore Deleted forms as it may seem the function is not working, but it may be the job is yet to be executed since the forms were deleted.
The job is not visible from the UI and is not visible from your companies provisioning.
To check this job should there be issues, please contact and create a ticket for Product Support (LOD-SF-CMP-ADM, LOD-SF-VRP-ADM).
For support colleagues, see internal notes for additional information.
