3121097 - System Dumps While Trying to Approve Cycle Count Task

Symptom

When trying to approve a Cycle Count task, a 500 SAP Internal Server Error appears.

Environment

SAP Business By Design.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Physical Inventory Workcenter.
  2. Go to Monitory view.
  3. Go to Work subview.
  4. Select a task to approve.
  5. Click button Approve Count.

The message error 500 SAP Internal Server Error appears.

Cause

The dump is faced because there are related Logistics Areas in the Physical Inventory Count that are currently marked as Obsolete.

Resolution

You can set the related Logistics Areas status to Active and proceed with the Approve Count of the document, then finish it approving the count. Once done, you can set the Logistics Areas back to Obsolete status again.
