Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a Customer or Supplier Business Partner
  2. Add an additional partner function e.g. add a second Ship-to 
  3. The error message Partner Function "Must Be Unique in The Master Record is raised"

Cause

Customising

Resolution

Option 1 - If more than one of the same Partner Function needs to be added

  1. Open the SSCUI 101286 Set Up Partner Determination for Customer and Supplier Master
  2. Open the "Partner Functions" section
  3. Uncheck the "Unique" checkbox for the Partner Function 


    Option 2 - When only one Partner Function is intended to be added.
    1. If the customising is correct check that a 2nd Partner Function is not being added.
