3122786 - How to Backup Recruiting Marketing Settings before Instance Refresh? - Recruiting Marketing

This KBA Describes the configurations that the customer/processor needs to backup before instance refresh in order to restore the integration between the RMK Test instance and the BizX instance.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

After instance refresh, the configuration of Recruiting Marketing Settings and Recruiting Marketing Datacenter URL is being overwritten by the production field values hence, if not restored, the integration between the RMK test instance and the RCM Test/Dev instance will not work. 

If the instance has enabled Internal Career Site powered by CSB, it is also recommended to take a backup of the Manage Service Provider Configuration for Identity Authentication Service (IAS) configuration (Previously 'Career Site Identity Provider (IDP) configuration').

To create a backup of Recruiting Marketing Settings: 

• Security Key: 

1. Go to Manage Career Site Builder > Site Configuration > Site Integration Tab 
2. Click on the "show" icon for Single Sign-On Security Key

For other Recruiting Marketing Settings Field in Provisioning:

• API key for job post sync
• Username for Job Post Sync
• Password for Job Post Sync 
• Expires in (seconds): 360 (As per the CSB implementation guide)

1. Go to Manage Career Site Builder > Tools > Manage API Credentials 
2. Click on the Provider ID
3. Please refer to the table below for the mapping. 
   
   

   Provider ID field (CSB)	Recruiting Marketing Settings (Provisioning)
   Provider ID	API key for job post sync
   Username	Username for Job Post Sync
   Password	Password for Job Post Sync

       

Configure Recruiting Marketing Datacenter URL: 

This is only accessible in provisioning. The processor can create a backup of the URL's before the instance refresh. Steps on how to configure this depending on RMK data center is also documented on the CSB Implementation Guide

Manage Service Provider Configuration for Identity Authentication Service (IAS) (Previously 'Career Site Identity Provider (IDP) configuration'):

It is recommended to take a backup of all the fields via Manage Data.

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Data
2. Search for "Recruiting Career Single Sign-On" and select the available entry
