3123300 - BW DTP execution fails with: DATAPROVISIONING PARAMETERS are not yet supported by the Calculation Engine

Symptom

  • BW DTP Execution fails in standard BW coding with error message: DATAPROVISIONING PARAMETERS are not yet supported by the Calculation Engine
  • If you enable the CalcEngine debug trace as described in SAP Note 2909779 - How to Collect Frequently Required Debug Info for Analyzing HANA Issues, you see the following error message in the HANA trace files:
i ceQo            ceNodeInstantiate.cpp(07708) : QO unfolding/QO conversion is not possible. Tag: ROWNUM_IN_CALC_ATTR Reason: RuntimeNode 0BW_SRC_DATASOURCE_1.SOURCE.PROJ has a calculated rownum attribute 0RECORD.TMP. The rownum expression is supported only for rownum operations.

i ceInstantiate    ceModelInstantiate.cpp(00109) : 0BW_SRC_DATASOURCE_1.SOURCE.PROJ is not unfolding compliant. Reason: rownum expression only supported for rownum operation
