According to the Hardware and Software Recommendations section in the EPM Add-in for Microsoft Office Installation Guide, SAP recommends to EPM add-in customers to use Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel versions for productive usage.
The EPM add-in team validates Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel versions only and customers using Current Channel and Monthly Enterprise Channel versions may encounter some unexpected Microsoft regressions.
