3123443 - Additional information of Error Log Format - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • System Administration Guide Volume 1 explains ASE error log format. It says that either "server" or "kernel" is placed in front of "<message>" as below.
<instance_ID>:<thread_ID>:<family_ID>:<spid> <date> <time> {<server> | <kernel>} <message>
  • In addition, "Logon" or "quorum" are also placed in front of "<message>".
