3123962 - Concur integration documents corrupted after PO system upgrade

Symptom

  • You are using Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) to receive documents (pdf, png) from Concur via PO to a backend ABAP system (such as ERP)

  • Your REST adapter scenario has started to fail after an upgrade to NW7.50 SP16+

  • The file is fetched but when you try to open it, the file is corrupted

  • Tracing the issue using SAP Note: 1514898 - Troubleshooting SAP Process Orchestration / Integration, you can see the below errors present in the server traces:
    com.sap.aii.adapter.rest.ejb.common.Localizer16:13:34:527~r.rest.ejb.common.Localizer.message
