3124127 - The data one user can see is different from what other users can see

Symptom

A user sees wrong data in a SAC Analytics Designer (AD) or Story but other users don't have the problem.

Environment

 SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  The problematic user login to SAC and check the data by opening a story or AD.
  2. The data the use can see is wrong.
  3. Login to SAC with other users.
  4. The problem doesn't occur.

Cause

The "Publish data" button is enabled for the user in the Story or AD, which means the user modifies the data but he doesn't publish it and that causes the inconsistency between what he can see and what other users can see.

Resolution

Login with the problematic user ID and click the button "Publish data" or "revert data" in the Story or AD.
