Reproducing the Issue
For Rehires no Welcome Message email was sent to reset the password and login to the system to complete the Rehire data collection steps.
Cause
(ONB) Rehire User Welcome Message Template was not active in the system.
Resolution
Post 2H 2021 release, a new welcome email template-(ONB) Rehire User Welcome Message Template, specifically for rehires, is available and has to be enabled for Rehired Onboardees to receive the correct email notification when they are selected as Rehires. Below template needs to be enabled in Email Services-
Note: The (ONB) External User Welcome message template would not be triggered for rehires.
