3124504 - Disable RMK site temporarily - Recruiting Marketing

Organizations may need to temporarily disable their Recruiting Marketing (RMK) site to make legislative changes to job requisitions or perform other essential maintenance tasks. Users need guidance on how to disable the site and switch to an alternative solution, if necessary.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

It is possible to temporarily disable the RMK site. Determine the best option for your needs from the following two approaches:

Option 1: Remove the CNAME from your DNS Entry: Engage your IT Department: Request your IT department to remove the CNAME record associated with your RMK site from the DNS entry. This action will make the site inaccessible.

Option 2: Disable RMK Site through Command Center

1. Ask your Implementation Partner: If you have an implementation partner, request them to disable the "Active" switch in the Command Center.
2. Submit a Ticket to Product Support: If you do not have an implementation partner, submit a ticket to the SAP Product Support team providing your approval for the change.

If your intention is to temporarily switch from RMK to RCM career site, further changes are required:

1. Disable Recruiting Marketing:
   • Go to Provisioning > Company Settings
   • Uncheck the "Recruiting Marketing" option.
2. Disable Mobile Apply:
   • Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Sites
   • Turn off the "Enable Mobile Apply" setting.

Important Notes:

• Switching between career sites may take some time. Revisit the site after a delay to ensure changes are applied successfully.
• It is also recommended to clear browser caches and cookies post-changes to avoid any browsing issues due to cached data.
