You Can't Release the Customer Invoice Request Due to the Error: "Due date must not be before invoice date" and "Payment Baseline Date must not be before Invoice Date".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Customer Invoicing work center.Select the Invoice Requests view.
2. Select invoice request XYZ.
3. Click the Invoice button.

The following error message appears:

Due date must not be before invoice date
Payment Baseline Date must not be before Invoice Date

This is a new error that is now raised in 2108. The message indicates that the due date of the invoice is before the invoice date.

In Business terms it would mean that we are expecting the payment before we send out invoice. This would be incorrect.

You will need to change the payment terms in there sales order, so that it will pick a valid due date.

Kindly note: The solution will work only when the customer invoice is not saved. You will have to change the payment terms before saving the invoice.
