3124953 - Error while Assigning shopping cart: Total gross/net amount differs from sum of item amounts

The shopping cart creator has left the company and there is an open task in the system, so you are trying to assign the cart to another user to complete the task, but you get following error:

Total gross/net amount differs from sum of item amounts.

Save failed.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Application and User Management work center
2. Select view: Task Distribution
3. Select  Shopping Cart Management subview
4. Select the shopping cart and assign to another user
5. Error: Total gross/net amount differs from sum of item amounts.

The error is due to exchange rate issue. There are 2 different currencies maintained in the shopping cart under (price)  and under (Net value/limit) and exchange rate is not maintained between them.

Please maintain the exchange rate in this path: General Ledger-> Common tasks-> Edit Exchange Rate and ensure that the validity dates are relevant to shopping cart.
