Symptom

  • The following error occurs after pressing the 'Test Connection' button on an MS SQL database datastore in CPI-DS:

    Test failed for the default configuration '<configuration>' of datastore: '<datastore name>':
    ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <<database server name>> failed with error: <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <<database server name>> failed: <[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot open database "<datastore name>" requested by the login. The login failed.>. Notify Customer Support.>. Use the ODBCDriverSelector (Windows) or DSConnectionManager.sh (UNIX) utility in LINK_DIR/bin to configure the correct version of the driver. If the problem still exists after selecting the correct version of the driver, notify Customer Support.
