3125594 - Maint user password change by hide_maintuser_pwd feature failed due to tempdb full in target ASE - SRS

Symptom

  • hide_maintuser_pwd is enabled
  • When it automatically changes password for maint user, target ASE return 1105 error on tempdb.

              Message from server: Message: 1703, State 2, Severity 10 -- 'Failed to allocate disk space for a work table in database 'tempdb'.  You may be able to free up space by using the DUMP TRANsaction command, or you may want to extend the size of the database by using the ALTER DA.

  • After that, the passwords for maint user stored in SRS and ASE become inconstent and DSI will be down due to login failure.

              The DSI thread for database 'xxx.xxx' is shutdown.
              ERROR #1028 USER(sa) - /generic/useful/cm.c(5349)
                         Message from server: Message: 4002, State 1, Severity 14 -- 'Login failed.
