Symptom

  • upgrade SAP ASE using saphostctrl as per SNOTE 2800483
  • upgrade phase is done and saphostctrl is executing SAP ASE's post-scripts (e.g) installmaster 
  • Installing sp_drop_object
        Msg 10389, Level 14, State 1:
        Server '<SID>', Procedure 'sp_drop_object':
        Permission denied. You must be the object owner to replace the definition of 'sp_drop_object'.
  • sybsystemprocs database owner is sapsa
