Error Message in Perform Rehire Verification Tile "The rehire verification task could not be initialized. Please try accessing the task again from the "To-Do" section of your Home Page."

SAP SUCCESSFACTORS ONBOARDING

1. Clicking on Rehire Verification Card for a candidate
2. Presented with error "The rehire verification task could not be initialized. Please try accessing the task again from the "To-Do" section of your Home Page."

1. Cause 1: Phone info entity was disabled
   OR
2. Cause 2: Applicant is already hired for the job application id
   OR
3. Cause 3: Job requisition is closed or deleted

1. Solution 1: Based on the error log, we could see that while getting the Manager details - Phone information from EMPPhone info, we are getting the error at runtime. 
2. Navigate to Manage Business configuration and see that Phone info entity itself was disabled. 
3. After we enable Phone info entity in Manage business configuration page and the try start on the Perform rehire verification tile
4. Solution 2: If applicant is already hired for the job application id, then you cannot proceed with this task. You can add candidate to new job requisition or initiate onboarding manually for the candidate to process
5. Solution 3: Reopen the job requisition so the candidate details can be retrieved
