3126969 - Proxy Now search by username not working

Using Proxy Now you can search for users you have proxy access to by first name or last name but not by username

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Enable the option in Platform Feature Settings > "Hide Username in the UI" > save, log out and back in

Now, using Proxy Now try to find a user you have proxy access for, you will not find them by username

This is expected since the 2H 2021 release.

Proxy now has adopted the Universal Person Search and so works in the same way as the user search

With the option "Hide Username in the UI"  enabled, you cannot search by username in the Universal Person Search  which now also applies to the Proxy Now search

If it is an option for your business, disable the option "Hide Username in the UI"  from Platform Feature Settings

If displaying the username is not an option, you will need to search by First Name, Last Name instead
