3127496 - SSL handshake hit signal 11 with a null function name or SSL function calls - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • SSL is enable and clients are connected using SSL port.
  • Multiple connections hit signal 11. Network Controller may also hit signal 11 and terminated.
  • The following stack trace includes these functions:
    Stack 1:

    EVP_MD_CTX_cleanup
    EVP_DigestVerifyFinal

    Stack 2:

    ASN1_item_ex_d2i
    ASN1_item_d2i
    PEM_X509_INFO_read_bio

    Stack 3:
