3127497 - W4 State value is displaying number

• State is displaying number in the form instead of initials e.g. PA
• Incorrect state value is showing in W4 form

1. Access instance
2. Proxy as Hiring Manager
3. Go to Home page > Onboarding Dashboard
4. Find affected new hire
5. Then, click on View Details under the name of the candidate
6. On the user onboarding overview, click actions in the upper right corner, click "Onboarding documents"
7. Find document name “XXXX_US_W4_2021_V1_SIGNED.pdf” 
8. Click View to download the form

• Picklist mapped in EC is using a number as External Code.

Troubleshooting Tips:

• Check the picklist mapped in EC for state field (Ex. USA country).
  
  1. Admin Center > Manage Business Configuration > homeAddress > homeAddress_USA
  2. Click Details of the 'state' field
  3. Check mapped Picklist
• Check picklist center of the mapped picklist in EC
  
  1. Admin Center > Picklist Center
  2. Search the picklist name e.g. 'state'
  3.  Check External Code (if it's number or initials e.g. PA)

Resolution: Map a picklist for state field which is using initials (e.g. PA) as External Code.
