The 'Material' field is filled in a billing document, but appears empty in the 'Display Line Item Entry' app (ID F2218).
For example a Debit Memo is created and the field 'Material' is filled, but when checking the associated journal entry in the 'Display Line Item Entry' app, the value is empty.
The 'Material' field is not populated on the entry level of journal entries, hence the information is not passed to the 'Display Line Item Entry' level app.
The 'Material' information is posted in the database table for the G/L account line items, therefore you can use the 'Display Line Items in General Ledger' app (ID F2217) to display it.
The 'Display Line Item Entry' app is useful for specific use cases, like tax and others, but for accounting information please refer to 'Display Line Items in General Ledger'.
