3128640 - Error "Sorry, something went wrong. The system couldn't update your Analytics Application ....." occurs when Saving a Analytic Application

Symptom

When you try to save Analytic Designer Applications, it throws different messages， such as "Sorry, something went wrong. The system couldn't update your Analytics Application .....".

If you try to save a Story, it works fine.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 1.0

Reproducing the Issue

1,login to the Tenant.

2,Create an Analytics Application, give it a name and save.

3,It throws various exceptions, such as "Sorry, something went wrong. The system couldn't update your Analytics Application .....".

Cause

The User ID you use has no rights to "delete" applications which is the reason why the saving of application fails.

Resolution

Grant "delete" right to the User ID.
