3128936 - Publish data to MDF job failing - Compensation

Symptom

When trying to publish data to MDF after completing compensation cycle, the job fails.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Compensation Home;
  2. Choose your template and go to Complete Compensation Cycle;
  3. Publish Data -> Publish selected employees in the Metadata Framework (MDF);
  4. Job fails with message: Publish failed. Can not publish for a non EC template.

Cause

This happens because non EC templates do not support publishing to MDF.

Resolution

This is working as expected. In order to be able to publish data to MDF, the template needs to be EC integrated.
