3128946 - Db2 'Runstats' BSIS table results in excessive SQL0911N rc=68 lock-wait and timeout.

Excessive lock-waits and timeouts observed during RUNSTATS operation on table BSIS.  Accounting/Financial applications are experiencing delay and failure.

The 'db6util' locking report ( note 327595 ) shows numerous BSIS table inserts waiting for long periods of time.   This can also be observed in Dbacockpit using transaction code DB01.
