Symptom

Is there a possibility to trigger a workflow for Payout cancellation?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite- All Versions
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central- All Versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. There is a Payout workflow configured on the Time account Payout Object
  2. When an admin tries to cancel a Payout, no workflow gets triggered and the cancellation is directly processed without approval
  3. The expectation here is to have a workflow in place for approval of the cancellation

Cause

  • This is currently a limitation
  • The workflow for a Payout cancellation cannot be configured at the moment
