This is a how to validate a Notification for the candidate .

you may want to confirm if the notification has been triggered and also email has been sent to the candidate ,  Go  through the KBA   2082912 - How to use the Mail Queue - Onboarding 1.0  .

you need to confirm  , If the notification is triggered successfully and also candidate activity has been completed for the particular step . So the Notification will not re-trigger automatically with the updated data .
