SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3135239 - Flexible workflow started but unexpected behavior found (eg. work item visible with delay; error raised when forwarding ; push notification not working)

Symptom

  • Flexible workflows are started after application activates, but work items cannot be found in user's My Inbox. 
  • Check the workflow agent in the workflow log, message "this work item does not have any current agents" raised. 
  • Work items show up in 'My Inbox' with more than half an hour delay.
  • If you refresh the workflow buffer via 'SWU_OBUF' the work items will appear in 'My Inbox' instantaneously.
  • You also notice that Push Notifications are not showing up in Fiori immediately for these work items. They are getting in registered in SWW_WIREGISTER but are not getting picked up by the SAP_WORKFLOW_PUSH job.
  • When forwarding a work item from My Inbox, error "Cannot forward task. Task TS xxxxxxxx has no agent" raised.
