3135556 - Custom Data Collection is not properly appearing for Onboardee - Onboarding

Candidate is not able to properly view Custom Data Collection.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Log in as the Onboardee
2. Click on Additional Onboarding Task on Home Page Card
3. The added custom data collection is not showing/ fields are not appearing.

Cause 1: RBP Permission is not correctly provided.

Cause 2: mdfSystemExternalUserVisibility is set as None

Cause 3: In Onboarding data collection configuration, the added custom data collection is not included on the list.

Solution 1: RBP Permission is not provided correctly

1. Go to Permission roles > Select the External Onboarding User
2. Click on Permissions > Onboarding or Offboarding Object Permission
3. Onboarding data collection configuration / Onboarding data collection user configuration ensure to grant View and Edit.
4. Then search for the configured object name, ensure to grant View and Edit.

Solution 2: mdfSystemExternalUserVisibility is set as "Not Visible"

1. Go to Admin Center > Configure Object Definition
2. Object Definition > Search for the added custom data collection
3. Click on Take action > Scroll down to mdfSystemExternalUserVisibility
4. Click on Details > change Visibility to "Read only" or "Editable"

Obs: If not maintained here, the visibility should be maintain via Rule.

Solution 3: In Onboarding data collection configuration, the added custom data collection is not included on the list

1. Go to Manage Data
2. Search for "Onboarding data collection configuration"
3. Add the missing custom data collection
