3136295 - How to create standard texts at the sales order header level

• A standard text was created in the Maintain Standard Texts app and needs to be made visible in the Text tab of the sales order header.
• The expectation is to have a pre-populated text in the sales order header, not derived from the customer master or any other source.

1. Text details can be created in the Maintain Standard Texts app and note down the Text Object, Text ID and Text Name details.
2. In the sales order text determination procedure (configuration activity Set Up Text Determination for Sales Document Header), it is possible to create custom text ID’s and access sequences, or use the standard ones. At this step, the corresponding text object, text ID and text name must be maintained for the respective access sequence to be used.
3. By this way, when the user creates a sales order, the system can pre-populate the text from the Maintain Standard Texts app in the sales order.
