3136297 - How to find existing product categories in SAP Marketing Cloud system?

Symptom

You have imported product categories and want to double confirm that they are imported correctly into the SAP Marketing Cloud system.

Environment

  • SAP Marketing Cloud Edition

Reproducing the Issue

There is no individual app to view product categories in the system.

Resolution

  1. You can find existing product categories by using report in Analytics and Report Gallery app.
  2. Search and open report "Product Categories" in "Marketing Data Analytics" tab.
  3. Search with the product hierarchy name and add rows with the navigation panel, then product categories can be displayed.
  4. If you find some items are missing, you can search with Odata service name "API_MKT_PRODCAT_HIERARCHY_SRV" to find payloads in Import Monitor app.
