3136330 - Error 'Cannot find fiscal years or accounting periods you are searching for' in General Ledger Accounts View

You are viewing the General Ledger Accounts view. Error 'Cannot find fiscal years or accounting periods you are searching for' occurs after entering company and set of books.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to General Ledger work center.
2. Go to General Ledger Accounts view.
3. Open Advanced Filter.
4. Enter Company ID and Set of Books ID.
5. Click on Go. Then error 'Cannot find fiscal years or accounting periods you are searching for' occurs.

When no fiscal year or period is filled in, the system default the value based on the current date. If the current date falls in period XXX/YYYY(XXX represents the accounting period, YYYY represents the fiscal year) of which has actually not been opened yet, error occurs.

For example, you view General Ledger Accounts on 01.01.2022. But you haven't opened fiscal year 2022 yet. Then in this case, the error will occur.

The solution is to either a) open fiscal year YYYY or b) specifically enter period/year combo which is open.
