Executing a settlement results in error "Check amount entered (Amount is too high)" AA317 or "Check amount entered (Amount is too high)" AA316

S/4HANA Cloud

1. Enter Execute Settlement - For AuC app.
2. Enter the details for the settlement.
3. Executing raises the error.

You have used your own custom asset class for AUCs, the negative indicator in SSCUI Specify Valuation Views for Asset Class (102609) has NOT been set, so the asset does not have this indicator inherited. 

In the SSCUI Specify Valuation Views for Asset Class (102609) set the indicator, this will set the flag for all NEWLY created assets.

For already created assets, set the indicator within each of the depreciation areas of the impacted assets belonging to the asset class. Then retry the settlement.
