Manual entry of the hierarchy node variable in the prompt dialog does not show data in the crosstab once the selection screen is confirmed and the selected values are submitted.
A message "No Data Available" is displayed in the crosstab.
However, using the value help for hierarchy node variable works fine and data is displayed in the crosstab.
